Tasbeeh (Day 20 of 30)

As I traveled through the earth
I can’t help but notice
The symphony I hear all around
from the smallest grain of sand
to the faraway planets
to a flower put in roots in the ground
Every bird in the sky
Every rock and every raindrop
Says as it falls from the clouds
every ant, every plant
every breeze and all the seas
They all sing
SUBHAN'ALLAH
SUBHAN'ALLAH
And i keep on running the beads
with my finger
reciting
SUBHAN'ALLAH
SUBHAN'ALLAH

Al-Quran al-Kareem (Day 18 of 30)

We Muslims believe the Quran to be the verbal book of divine guidance and direction for mankind, and consider the original Arabic verbal text to be the final revelation of God.

Kissing the angel of death

Defying what I got I got from life,
Defying what life got from me,
Those black wings are covering my soul,
Those dark eyes looking in mine,
Those cold lips curve up in smile,
Mysteriously filled with a sinister glimpse.
Yet it seemed worthwhile.
They reach for my face,
All I can do is lie motionless.
Just stare in darkness.
But with that I felt a wave of loss,
of my heart beat, blood and spirit.
As I got kissed by the angel of death

Spirit (Day 15 of 30)

I love it when you bow in your mosques, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons of one religion, and it is the spirit.

Tap tap girti baarish ka shehr hai
...Aur ek qalam

Blossom (Day 9 of 30)

The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.
So how many people blossomed because of your good acts this Ramadan?

Bismillah - (Day 7 of 30)

"In the name of God, most Gracious, most Compassionate"
I seriously love it whenever I get to read Bismillah text. Yes I know am talking like a kid but it is so.
Muslims indeed try to finish Quran in Ramadan, I hope I do as well

Azaan - (Day 6 of 30)

God is the Greatest (supreme)
I testify there is no deity but God
I testify Muhammad is the messenger of God
I testify Ali is friend of God
I testify Ali is promoter of God’s message
Come to pray
Come to true prosperity
Come to the best of all actions
God is the Greatest (supreme)
There is no deity but God

As Muslims we are devoted to pray 5 times a day, but it is commonly observed that many don't... Yet it is seen that the magic of Ramadan plays a great role and many are found headed towards the Mosque as they hear the sound of Azaan... Mashallah

Chicken Shashlik - (Day 5 of 30)

One of my favorite dishes from Bundu Khan, Lahore.
Although it is not of the same quality now, but it was once way too ufff to have... And LOL, it looks like most of the pictures in this series would be of food. haha...

Rael - (Day 4 of 30)

As the sun starts to rise sehri time ends and if we notice after sehri the mornings are so blissful, so beautiful... They invite us to enjoy it; not by doing any wrong doing but placing the 'Rael' and to start our day by reciting the Holy Quran.
Ramadan undoubtedly have an effect on us.

Night Rain (Day 3 of 30)

Rain never helps on any night, but it probably won't be as much of a hindrance in Ramadan. People are just raring to get out... For aftari, for dinner and many for tarawiyaan...
It's a beautiful sight to see rain drops on your car or all around; it sort of refreshes you after going through the fast all day rain can be a bliss for many... at least it is for me

The Cup Cakes (Ramadan Day 2)

After a whole day of fast, it is amazing to have such nice home made cup cakes in your tummy!

Chocolate Cup Cakes with Mint Fudge

Waqt-e-Iftaar (Day 1 of 30)

Waqt-e-Iftaar

P.s. a series of 30 pictures would be uploaded soon along with catching up for the days passed... all 30 pictures associated with Ramadan...

Tu Nishaan-e-Azm-e-Alishan

Tu Nishaan-e-Azm-e-Alishan...
 Someday
Inshallah
Yet again 14th of August is here... things are becoming worse day by day... It is no more a country which our Quaid dreamt of nor the ideology is left... All what left is hopeless people, shattered dreams, agonizing pain, hunger, suffering, destructions, politics and a sinking voyage... If we say it's our fault it won't be wrong but to say destroying it our desire then this would be a lie... Time heals, but for our country tch tch the definition of healing has to be redefined...
But I must say, the thing which separates us from majority is that whenever a crisis come we stand all together... Yet I see this passion fading too...
I do not know what others desire to say but I say ay watan tujh per aaj bhi utni hi jaan kurbaan jitni pehley thi... and with the core of my heart I desire to say

"PAKISTAN
To be with you in these explosions
To be with you in the time of crisis
To be with you in these disasters
Is not a decision which is forced upon me
It is what I desire, I choose
To see this PROMINENT GREEN standing out its color
To see the prominent green in front of my eyes
To see our country, our flag and its colors stand out
Stand out even in the time of darkness....
To be a proud Pakistani
To wish you Azadi Mubarik"

Though I know I shouldn't end it with negativity per

Pani main doob rahi hai meri dharti aye Arz-e-Watan
Main kis zubaan sey kahun "Azadi Mubarak"

So lets pray for a better Pakistan, for better US... Pray that the hardships end and all which remains after that a Pakistan which rises, which motivates, which indulges no pain.
Lets pray for Pakistan not because we live here but because it lives in our heart and soul... We as a nation have come out of lots of disasters so why not unite again and pull this one heck of beautiful ship out of the storm and into the wide oceans sailing as never before...

Story of a divine lover

Mullah maar na mein kojhri koon
Meinkoon apna yaar manawan dey

O pious one, do not hit me
Let me appease my Friend

By becoming a musician (marasi), I won’t become a lesser mortal

Let me pacify Him by the blissful sound
that arises from my instrument

Let me become a mystic for my Beloved
the one who forgets everything in love
Let me put a rosary in my neck
which may hinder my false appearance

Let me live as a divine lover
As to you; I'll forever belong

But without you

Without you even the rain has no value for me
But I do ask,
I ask that it rains...
And when it does, it kisses your face...
It makes you glimmer,
Make you love,
Make your heart whole again...
I ask as a gift from me, eternally,
together or apart...
But without you, even the flowers don't shine,
nor the birds whistle,
It is just silver around...
Like one part sea glass and one part saltwater tears;
Painted blue by the storm clouds
that send their shards dancing...

Standing Out the difference

The difference is what I stand out,
But the question is is there any difference?
Can anyone be different?
I don't think so...

It is all about perspective I guess,
The way we see,
The way we feel,
The way we want to believe in things...

At times I want to be the same for everyone,
And desire to be different in your eyes,
I try too hard and yet I fail...

All I want is that you see me,
You notice me...
Without me doing anything special,
Just being my self,
I wish to stand out...

I want you to,
Accept me as I am
not who you want me to be
because that road
will only lead to
disappointment...

So lemme stand out the difference...

The Finger

It takes 42 muscles to frown and only four to extend my middle finger and tell you to bite me.
