Qutb-ud-din Aibak's Mausoleum

As you turn in the small street of Anarkali you see the Mausoleum of Sultan Qutb-ud-din Aibak

Sultan Qutb-ud-din Aibak also called "Lakh Baksh Sultan" (the donator of hundreds of thousands)was the first Muslim king of Northwest India who ruled from his capital in Delhi where he built Qutub Minar and the Quwwat Al Islam mosque and now Qutb-ud-din Aibak's tomb is located behind Anarkali bazaar which is present after being renovated at the orders of the Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in 1970.

Qutb-ud-Din Aibak was a very avid player of polo, he died in Lahore in 1210 A.D., while playing the game.

Dar-e-Khuda

Na tha kuch toh khuda tha, kuch na hota to khuda hota
Duboya mujhko hone ne, na hota main to kya hota ?

Standing in front of this door leading me to the pious house
I wait, I stare, and I wish that it bounds me in a spell of no return...

The color of my blood is RED, but when the time comes I paint my self with MY color, the color GREEN, to support my loving land, to show who I ACTUALLY AM...

Khushnuma

Khushnuma sa ye roshan ho jahaan
Khwaab jeenay ke poorey ho yahaan
Zindagi se yun miley
Koi pal na rootha sa
Jisme khud se bade dooriyan
Khushnuma sa ye roshan ho jahaan
Khwaab jeenay ke poorey ho yahaan
Zindagi se yun miley
Koi pal na rootha sa
Jisme khud se bade dooriyan

May this beautiful sight
diminish all the sorrows

Goonj

Goonjti hai meri awaz in chaar deewariyon main
Laut ke aati hai kai baar
Unn aah-o-zariyon main
Ke fanaa hone se pehle...

khuda ko yaad karlen
shayd ussay humari koi baat pasand ajaye...

Dhalta Suraj

Dhalta suraj kabhi dhalti umeedon ko ashna nahi karta.
Dikhata hai toh ek naya din,
Sikhata hai toh Zindagi ka naya pehlu.

Captivating Mosque (Day 28 of 30)

I try to capture it through my lens yet the beauty and the true divine nature of it can never be captured even if we pour our heart out in the click.
Badhsahi Mosque is one of my all times favorite and it forever will be

Parcham (Day 27 of 30)

Ek izzat hai
ek rooh hai
ek jaan hai
ek junoon hai
Iss sabz parcham ki
ek hi justuju hai.
Per sach poocho
toh yaad nahi kab
Shayad bohut saal hue tab
saundhi khushbu soonghi thi maine apne watan ki
Ab toh khoon hi khoon hai
aur gosht ke tukre
Ya khuda tujh say yehi hai dua
iss parcham ko har dam lehrata rakh
Kahin zor ke jhonke se urr hi na jaye
Yeh watan humesha salamat rahay.

Tu Nishaan-e-Azm-e-Alishan

Tu Nishaan-e-Azm-e-Alishan...
 Someday
Inshallah
Yet again 14th of August is here... things are becoming worse day by day... It is no more a country which our Quaid dreamt of nor the ideology is left... All what left is hopeless people, shattered dreams, agonizing pain, hunger, suffering, destructions, politics and a sinking voyage... If we say it's our fault it won't be wrong but to say destroying it our desire then this would be a lie... Time heals, but for our country tch tch the definition of healing has to be redefined...
But I must say, the thing which separates us from majority is that whenever a crisis come we stand all together... Yet I see this passion fading too...
I do not know what others desire to say but I say ay watan tujh per aaj bhi utni hi jaan kurbaan jitni pehley thi... and with the core of my heart I desire to say

"PAKISTAN
To be with you in these explosions
To be with you in the time of crisis
To be with you in these disasters
Is not a decision which is forced upon me
It is what I desire, I choose
To see this PROMINENT GREEN standing out its color
To see the prominent green in front of my eyes
To see our country, our flag and its colors stand out
Stand out even in the time of darkness....
To be a proud Pakistani
To wish you Azadi Mubarik"

Though I know I shouldn't end it with negativity per

Pani main doob rahi hai meri dharti aye Arz-e-Watan
Main kis zubaan sey kahun "Azadi Mubarak"

So lets pray for a better Pakistan, for better US... Pray that the hardships end and all which remains after that a Pakistan which rises, which motivates, which indulges no pain.
Lets pray for Pakistan not because we live here but because it lives in our heart and soul... We as a nation have come out of lots of disasters so why not unite again and pull this one heck of beautiful ship out of the storm and into the wide oceans sailing as never before...

Lucid Dream

Captivating me
with the endless teasing
twinkle in my eyes
the shadows dance
as i follow me

Dhalta Sooraj Dheke
Aur Hawa chuke Guzre
Jalwa Woh Nayab tha
Asal tha Yake Khwab tha

Standing before the mirror,
Is it a dream
A lucid dream
I guess
Lurking around me
memories of my temptations,
all mesmerizing

I want you
I want it
I want the substance
The substance which is mesmerizing me

Kuch bhi jo accha lage
Aur milay bhi
Zaroori to nahi
Sach hai per
hai Ajeeb

The shadows of the mirror
The mirror which I stand infront of
still taunt
still hurt
still enlighten my desires
arousing me ever so gently
tickling my senses

Ik andheri si raat
Aur kuch kadmoon ki chhap
Alam ki thi yeh kya baat
Jaise Andhekhi sa ghaat

Confused I am
And will remain
Until the dawning of a newly found hour
Shadows would fade
As I keep on looking at the mirror
the person gazing back at me,
in the mirror remains.
Lurking around me
memories of my temptations,
My lucid dream....

Chori Chori

Ae way mein chori chori teray naal laa layyan akhaan way
Mein chori chori...
Duniya tou jakhaan tay mein duniya
Jakhan tay mein pyar tera rakhan
Way mein chori chori teray naal laa layyan akhan way

-----------------------------------

Without anyone knowing about it, I locked my eyes with you
Very quietly, very discreetly...
I will keep this love hidden from the rest of this world
Nevertheless, the love I have for you is safe
Without anyone knowing about it, I locked my eyes with you
And fell in Love

Sang-o-khisht

"Wuhi jahan hai tira jis ko tu kare paida
Yeh sang-o-khisht naheen jo tiree nigah men hai"

- Iqbal

Your world is (only) the one which you create yourself,
Not these stones and bricks, which are in sight

The Prominent Green

To be with you in these explosions
To be with you in the time of crisis
To be with you in these disasters
Is not a decision which is forced upon me
It is what I desire, I choose
To see this PROMINENT GREEN standing out its color
To see the prominent green in front of my eyes
To see our country, our flag and its colors stand out
Stand out even in the time of darkness....
Be proud, Be a true Pakistani

Solacing Dead Ends

The motions of life never cease, constantly turning the clock towards our most certain end. The passage of life are similar we walk and walk until we see the end... And if we see the dead end, we turn, because there's always light coming from a better end rather then blindly walking towards a dead end making it a solacing one. It is good finding a little solace when an end to it is as inevevitable as the passing of days....
