Dil jalega to zamane may ujala hoga

Husn zarron ka sitaron se nirala hoga

Kaun jane ye mohabbat ki saza hai ke sila

Ham kinare pe bhi pahunche to kinara na mila

Bujh gaya chand kisi dard bhare dil ki tarah

Rat ka rang abhi aur bhi kala hoga
